Colored glass filters / heat absorption filters

We use the entire "SCHOTT GLAS" filter assortment of raw glass; upon customer request, raw glass of other manufacturers can be used.

We manufacture the following glass types with wavelengths of 200 nm and up:

Band-pass filters	selective pass-through of waves within desired
	spectral ranges
Long pass filters	blockage of waves within undesired shortwave
	range
Short pass filters	blockage of waves within undesired longwave
	range
Neutral filters	desired optical densities for a defined spectral
	range
Conversion filters	due to their spectral range the filters increase or
	decrease the color temperature of radiation sources
Heat protection filters	Absorption filters are manufactured from tempered
	KG glass

The desired filter qualities are achieved by using different thicknesses and combining different types of glass.

Please contact us and provide us with your specifications. We will determine the fine thickness and select the filter combination best suited for your economical and technical needs.

Adding optical layers provides for additional filter effects. Anti-reflection coating is often recommended to prevent corrosion of sensitive glass. For example, RG850 is coated on both sides for usage in the IR area.

For test purposes or verification, we offer a filter set, an assortment of spectral filters from UV to IR, 50 mm x 50 mm x thickness mm. Please ask for specifications.
