Optical Coatings
 

At our facility MICROS Coatings GmbH & C0. KG in Hermsdorf we use the latest thin film technology to produce a wide variety of hard, scratch resistant optical coatings.

In addition to our standard coatings we offer comprehensive solutions for custom applications, enabled by powerful programs and high-precision measuring instruments.

Standard coatings

Antireflexionsschichten [AR]

  • single layer, R ≤ 1,5%, selectable central wavelength
  • double layer, R ≤ 0,3%, selectable central wavelength
  • broadband, R ≤ 0,25%, selectable wavelength area
  • laser coating, R ≤ 0,15%, selectable central wavelength

Aluminum mirror coatings [Al + SiO2], enhanced

  • VIS:  max. R of 97%, selectable central wavelength
  • UV:  max. Ravg of 90%
  • IR:  max. Ravg of 90%

Silver layer [AG], internal / protected

  • max. Ravg of 98%, 400 nm up to 20 µm

Gold layer [AU], bare / protected

  • Ravg up to 99%, 650nm - 160µm   

Dielectric mirror layer [HR], high-reflection

  • R > 99%, selectable central wavelength

Neutral-density filter [ND]

  • hard, metal layer resistant to ageing with 0.01-91.2% transmission

Dichroitic filter layers [DF]

  • Colored filter from blue to magenta, corrosion filters, heat reflection filters, cold-light mirrors
     

Beamsplitter coatings [S/T]

  • VIS-Broadband, UV, and IR-coatings.  Beamsplitter plates and beamsplitter cubes, polarizing or non-polarizing for different angles of incidence.
